There is interesting debate on teacher vs student, and question
come is Can technology replace teacher?
The 21st century is an era of knowledge and information
sharing. Where technology is becoming integral part of human life . In every
field like Businesses, medical, education or in agriculture also technology
plays a prominent role. Without it the world will quite impossible for human
that is the fact of the modern era. ”Either update or outdated" This statement is become pivotal in this technophobe world. Especially
for the teachers of the 21st century.
Technology is become an integral and very prominent part of
the modern education system. There are so many "why" behind necessity or
what is the basic need of the technology in the education system for example:
"This century is the century of
knowledge and power, and we have to convert knowledge in digital form, and
widely spread among the people, because it is believed that a static thing is
no of any use it becomes west and outdated. So for quickly riches this
knowledge to people is happens through technology only." And many others
but now the question, the problem is come across the world and teacher is that
by having too much use of technology in the education is harmful for teacher? 'Self-learning"
or we may say that "Individual learning" the lots of stress put upon
this things in the present education system. Which is much more possible
through using and integrating the technology in the education system not only
teacher but by the student also. Now a days it is widely used by both but the
next question is that "Can technology replace teacher? Apart from this here is some another old idea of teaching by a teacher is breaking and new idea of digital-teacher or we can say technocratic teacher is also popular in this days, its well present in this video:
Technology is certainly changing the face of education today. But can it really replace teachers in the coming future?
With the fast pace development of technology, reaching the
modern classrooms isn’t something one could not imagine about. Technology has
become an integral part of today’s world. Teachers and schools are facing
immense pressure to bring technology in the day-to-day education system. But
the real question remains: can technology really replace teachers? Read further
to find out.

No matter how advanced the computer devices and systems are
today, they cannot bring to the class the vast amount of knowledge and life
experience a teacher does. Whereas a computer will provide all the facts and
figures needed, it won’t be able to provide the guidance, leadership qualities
and facilitate the students in a way a teacher will. Teachers are the ones who
students can look up to as role models, but not Google (even though it would
still remain the web god). A strong bond between the student and the teacher provides
a positive approach towards learning and creates a healthy learning
environment. Such an environment can never be achieved through virtual
learning. So to say that technology can replace teachers in the near future is
not true. Well, it’s not even close enough!
Here are a few points that explain how technology cannot
replace teachers:
- Technology cannot make a student socially interactive
- Technology won’t be able to gauge every student’s capabilities
- Technology can become the focal point instead of a mediator
- Technology won’t be an inspiration to the student
- Technology is not available to all
But there’s more to it. Though teachers cannot be replaced
by technology, it does play an important role. The old school way of textbooks
and notebooks is fast vanishing from the modern day schools. The current
generation of students, with access to a wide variety of computer devices
around them, don’t want to go through those fat books anymore. This makes the job
tougher for the teachers. They not only have to keep pace with the
technology but also keep themselves updated with today’s trends and plan
their classroom strategies accordingly. Teachers have to move out of their
comfort zones and exploit new ways to engage the students. And technology is a
big helping hand in terms of that. With more and more educational software and
apps being developed, it has become easier for teachers to inculcate quick and
interactive learning among the students.
The internet is the sole access to almost anything a student
wants to know. Teachers play an integral role in channelizing the genuine,
trustworthy information to the students, create a highly energised and positive
culture in the classrooms to help each student fight their struggles and stand
in the highly competitive world outside. Technology can show a player what
mistakes he/she is making in a playing field, but the experience and knowledge
of a coach will help him/her improve upon those mistakes. A new computer system
installed in a school can only be operated once a teacher teaches you how to
operate it.
The Teacher vs. Technology is a never ending battle. Teacher
we consider as nurture, no matter how content we have, how information we get
from Google but for the deep understanding of that is for require a teacher.
Teacher is requiring for encouragement of student in various other fields apart
from teaching, fields like sports, and co-curricular activities. Teacher is requiring
for a student to encourage them into enhancing their creativity, a teacher
should motivate and encourage student to writing such small poem, story, etc. A teacher can helping student in the connecting the dots, they encourage student to think in a critical or dimensional way, a teacher can connect one world with the another by using example, and they inspired student to imagine something, have critical inside which may technology or computer couldn't provide. we use "Globnera software" to learn the language but this kid of software or technology couldn't taught us to literature with the feeling or the same emotion which may writer wrote.
A small video which proven my views that why teacher is requiring still though the high technology we using for learning.
